About Us:

The dog that started it all...the 'GOAT' you could say. Auggie made an everlasting imprint on our whole family and he is truly the roots of what we have today! He was our first shorthair many years ago and was taking over the field trial world by storm before passing away unexpectedly. While the unexpected loss was a tragic chapter in our lives, the seed was planted, and continues to grow. 

We now own so many phenomenal dogs, that do it all, and family dogs that are absolute machines in the field. If you ask Nick, he still wonders if Auggie was that 'once in a lifetime' dog.

Some people may think we are crazy for sleeping out with the dogs before they give birth and several days after, weighing  the puppies multiple times a day, spending countless hours with the pups, having an incredible and personal relationship with our vet, or even making puppy pickup day an 'event'.  Auggie's tragic loss, and the incredible impact that he made on us is why we go the extra mile from day one.

Here at Faithful Point Kennels and Auggie's Golden Point Training, we want to do everything in our power to improve the German Shorthair Pointer breed and hopefully have the opportunity to give our clients that blessing of a 'once in a lifetime' dog.
